Two high profiled Barack Obama supporters are urging Hillary Clinton to drop out the race for the Democratic nomination for president. Some call it encouragement by the Obama camp, which is quite ironic considering how Clinton supporters recently asked House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi to "amend" her public comments that super delegates should support the party's pledged learder-Obama as of the latest. Sen. Patrik Leahy, D-Vermont said "[Clinton] has every right, but not a very good reason, to remain a candidate for as long as she wants to." Sen. Chris Dodd of Connecticut, who also ran for the Democratic nomination but backed Obama after dropping out in January had similar words.

"I mean, if a person wants to stay in the race, stay in the race-but if you have enough people rallying behind what appears to be the likely choice, and I believe the choice is Barack Obama... then I think you have to step up to the plate and say, 'Enough is enough.' We want this to be over with."

OBAMA SUPPORTERS AFTER CLINTON SUPPORTERS

MoveOn.org launched a fundraiser drive Thursday to counter Sen. Hillary Clinton's wealthy supporters. This demonstrates the emergence of political activism through blogs and other online media. Clinton is backed by wealthy traditional supporters, While Netroots support are more favorable with Obama. A letter signed by twenty major Clinton supporters lays forth the subtle evidence of corruption as it suggest House Speaker Nancy Pelosi withdraw her comments that super delegates should support the party's pledged delegate leader Barack Obama. Pelosi faces a decision between congressional funds and exercising her right to freedom of speech!

"We have been strong supporters of the DCCC-we therefore urge you to clarify your position on super delegates and reflect in your comments a more open view to the optional independent actions of each of the delegates at the National Convention in August."

The following day MovOn.org announced a fundraiser drive to support Pelosi's position.

"It's the worst kind of insider politics-billionaires bullying our elected leaders into ignoring the will of the voter," organizers wrote in an e-mail to the group's members.

"But when we all pool our resources together we're stronger than the fat cats. So let's tell Nancy Pelosi that if she keeps standing up for regular Americans, thousands of us will have her back, And we can more than match whatever the CEOs and billionaires refuse to contribute."

As of the latest Hillary Clinton has 1486 delegates to Barack Obama's 1625 delegates.
